Who we are, what we sell and why we are not affiliated with BGTOLL.
We are not the official BGTOLL website
vinietaBG.ro is a private, independent commercial service, with no affiliation whatsoever to BGTOLL or to the Bulgarian authorities. We register the vignette in your name and on your account, in the official database, for a service fee. You can also buy it directly from bgtoll.bg, for the bare road tax.
Who we are
A Romanian company selling a small, specific service.
This site is operated by Digital Wap SRL, a company registered in Bucharest. We build and run online stores for digital products - things that are bought in a hurry, from a phone, and have to work the first time.
The Bulgarian e-vignette is exactly that kind of purchase: you need it on the day you travel, you buy it at a petrol station or on the border queue, and you have no patience for a form that argues with you. So we built the version we would want to use ourselves.

What we actually do
We do not sell you a vignette. You mandate us, and we execute the mandate.
You give us a mandate
When you order, you authorise us to register one specific vehicle, for one specific period, in the electronic database of the Bulgarian road authority - in your name and on your account.
We register it and advance the tax
We enter your plate in the official register and pay the road tax on your behalf. The money for the tax goes to the Bulgarian state, not to us.
We hand you the proof
You get a PDF showing that the road tax has been paid for your vehicle, and with it the right to use the roads for the period you chose.
This matters more than it sounds. A vignette is a road tax owed to the Bulgarian state - it never belongs to us, so it cannot be resold. What you pay for is the mandate and its execution. The full wording is in the Terms and conditions.
What we are not
- We are not BGTOLL, and we are not affiliated with it in any way.
- We are not a public authority and we issue nothing on behalf of one.
- We do not resell vignettes. A road tax is not ours to resell.
- We are not the cheapest way to get a vignette, and we do not pretend to be.
If you would rather do it yourself
Go to bgtoll.bg, pick the period, type your plate and pay. It costs less, it is entirely legitimate, and we would rather tell you here than have you feel misled later.
To check a plate that already has a vignette, the official page is check.bgtoll.bg. It is free and it works without us.

Four reasons, and none of them is the price.
In your language, with your currency
The official site is in Bulgarian and English, and charges in euro. Here you read Romanian, pay in lei and talk to someone who answers in Romanian.
Fewer ways to get it wrong
We show the plate the way it looks on the car, we suggest the email domain as you type, and we show you everything once more before you pay. Those are the two mistakes that cannot be undone afterwards.
A payment that goes through
Card payments on the official site fail often enough with Romanian cards, usually at the worst moment. Ours run through a processor that is used to them.
Someone to ask
If the plate went in wrong, if the email did not arrive, if the check shows nothing - you write to us and a person answers. That is most of what the service fee pays for.
